Etiwanda High School is a public secondary school in Rancho Cucamonga, California, California. It is one of the eleven schools of the Chaffey Joint Union High School District.[1]

History

Etiwanda High School is one of the oldest schools in the district.[2] Etiwanda High School is one of the eight comprehensive high schools in the Chaffey Joint Union High School District and is located in the incorporated community of Rancho Cucamonga. Etiwanda opened in September 1982 with two classes and celebrated the first graduating class in 1985. The current enrollment is approximately 3350 students in grades nine through twelve.[3] It is one of eight schools in its district. Etiwanda hosts many different kinds of various features throughout. Its current feeder schools are primarily Summit Intermediate, Etiwanda Intermediate, and Heritage Intermediate schools.

Etiwanda High School is accredited through the WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and has been recognized as a California Distinguished High School.[3]
