Turn It Up is the debut album by English singer-songwriter Pixie Lott, released in the United Kingdom on 14 September 2009 by Mercury Records. The album debuted at number six on the UK Albums Chart, before dropping to number thirteen in its second week and number twenty-three in its third week.[11] The album's first two singles, "Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)" and "Boys and Girls", both peaked at number one on the UK Singles Chart, while the third single "Cry Me Out" reached the top twenty. "Gravity" has been confirmed as the fourth single and is to be released on the 8 March 2010.

On 21 December 2009, a deluxe edition was released on the UK iTunes Store, containing an additional six tracks including a cover of "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon and "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta featuring Kelly Rowland, as well as previously unreleased tracks.

Singles

  • "Boys and Girls" is the second single from the album. Released on 5 September 2009—a week before the album's release—, the song spent one week at number one on the UK Singles Chart and eight weeks in the top forty. The music video was directed by Diane Martel.
  • "Cry Me Out" was released as the third single on 30 November 2009. A preview of the song was shown on BBC Breakfast. The single stalled at number twelve, being her first single to miss the number-one spot, as well as the top ten. The song's music video was directed by Jake Nava.
  • "Gravity" was released as the fourth single on 8 March 2010.[12]. It become her first single to miss the top twenty by peaking at twenty six.
  • "My Love" will be released as the fifth single on 7 June 2010.[10]
