- if you want a $7.00 guided 12:30-1:50 p.m. tour of the immigration museum, make reservations and get there at noon
- need to figure time to walk around and climb island to meet back at Visitor Center at 3:30 p.m.

- United States Immigration Station museum Room 105 (North Garrison, China Cove)
- If you prefer the $7 hour and 20 minute guided tour, please reserve in advance (415-435-3392 or email) and arrive early for the 12:30 p.m. tour
- Scope out possibilities for a sponsor party or benefit concert
- East Garrison: 20 tables, BBQ, 200-1000 people (Fort McDowell, facing Berkeley)
- Facing the Foundation office and the SF skyline Southeast is the abandoned Nike missile site above Point Blunt Light
- Mt. Livermore (center of island)
- Rock quarry
- Alcatraz Gardens at Perl's Beach (Southwest, facing San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge)
- Camp Reynolds (West Garrison, facing Sausalito and the Golden Gate Bridge)
- military museum and restored officers' barracks

- picnic areas by Visitor Center, facing Tiburon (Ayala Cove, Northwest docks)

- Camp overnight if you miss the last ferry
