Cyrus Sahukar

Cyrus Sahukar (born August 6, 1980) was born in the Indian State of Karnataka in Mysore District. He is an Indian Zoroastrian video jockey who appears on MTV India. He generally appears on comical and satirical programmes like MTV Bakra, Piddhu the Great (impersonating Navjot Singh Sidhu) and Semi Girebal (impersonating Simi Garewal). He is known for his sharp and witty comments. He played the role of a struggling radio-jockey in the famous 2006 Bollywood film Rang De Basanti and a photographer in Delhi 6

Early life and career

As a child, he studied in St. Columba's School, Delhi. He is six feet and 3 inches. His father is in the army. He joined Barry John's theatre group when he was 15 and acted in quite a few productions. They include adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express, Haroun and the Sea of Stories and Graffiti - Postcards from School. He used to host Radio Rampage at TGIF (Thank God it's Friday) at Delhi.

Presently Cyrus judged MTV Roadies season 7 with Nikhil Chinapa and Cyrus Broacha. He is also hosting the hit comedy show on Pogo called "Hole in the Wall". Recently he acted in MTV spoof called "Bechare Zameen Par" which was a take on the hit film "Taare Zameen Par" and also hosts MTV Kickass Mornings where he plays many characters. He had a small role in Om Jai Jagdish(2002). He also played the role of wily photographer Suresh in the recent film Delhi 6(2009) starring Abhishek Bachchan and Sonam Kapoor.
