Pluvigner (Breton: Pleuwigner) is a commune in the Morbihan department in Bretagne in north-western France.

Demographics

Inhabitants of Pluvigner are called Pluvignois.

As of 1999 census, the town has a population of 5428. In 2007 the estimated population was 7072[1].

Breton language

The municipality launched a linguistic plan through Ya d'ar brezhoneg on November the 9th of 2006.

In 2007, there was 9,4% of the children attended the bilingual schools in primary education.[2]
