:::::I'm sorry for dragging you into this. But I'm more sorry it didn't work out, because you do a great job and would have made good use of adminship. Seems like the supporters knew your work from before, and those who didn't, opposed. Anyway, the comments weren't too ugly as far as I can see, so it's not that bad after all. I trust you keep up the good work and I'll support your again if such time should come. --[[User:Eddideigel|Eddi]] ([[User talk:Eddideigel|Talk]]) 14:55, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

Image size on Norwegian stubs

Hi Samuelsen. I see that you've recently reduced the size of the Norwegian flag on a number of stubs. Do you have any particular reason for doing this? On "-politician-stub"s the image size is usually 30 px. I think the same is the case on the "-bio-stub"s. Regards. --Valentinian 02:36, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The flag of Norway looks better when the width is a multiple of 22. There's no anti-aliasing then. See the difference between 22px , 44px and 30px . The 30px is a bit hazy, while the others are clear. --Samuelsen 10:04, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You're right about that. The only problem is that it is a very small image (and a lot smaller than a lot of other flag images, including the other Scandinavian flags). Well, it's fine with me as long as no Norwegians are offended by the small flag :-) Valentinian 11:39, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Since there are some useful discussions here, I visit the page from time to time. Hope that's fine with you. Would it be all right if there was a kind of archive link at the top like I inserted just now, although it's just a history link? --Eddi (Talk) 14:12, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. --Samuelsen 16:30, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What region?

We need to review the terms used for various types of regions of Norway, esp. the current erroneous term "landscape", but also landsdel and tettsted. See for instance Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Norway#.22Landscape.22. -- Egil 16:06, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy...

Have you seen this user? I'm not sure it's a problem just yet, just letting you know he existed. Cheers, my friend. --LV (Dark Mark) 23:59, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Administratorship

Would you find administratorship at en: useful, and would you mind if I nominate you? --Eddi (Talk) 19:54, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Some extra tools to fight vandalism would be nice. Go ahead. --Samuelsen 21:03, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
A reply here counts as contacting me. (I suppose you need to approve of the wording of the nomination.) Please let me know if you want me to post the nomination for discussion, or if you prefer to do it yourself. Best luck! --Eddi (Talk) 22:23, 20 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
You can post the nomination. (I fixed a spelling error.) --Samuelsen 12:14, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Posted and open until 28 January. (Thanks for spelling fix.) The nomination was perhaps a little short, but others have added details on contribution history. Some have commented on the proportion of edit summaries in non-minor edits, and the number of Wikipedia namespace edits. Let's see in a couple of days how it goes. --Eddi (Talk) 18:05, 21 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
