The soap should remove any non-polar molecules of oil and grease that may be present leaving only polar molecules on the hand's surface. Rinse the hand clean. Before drying hold the hand if the air in front of you and observe the bottom side. Notice only large drops of water where few of the molecules have direct contact with the polar skin molecules detach and fall due to gravity. The film that remains is very thick by plant capillary standards.
