Shane Harper is an American Actor, Dancer and singer. He is best known as his role as Spencer Walsh in Disney Channel's teen sitcom Good Luck Charlie and was also a principle dancer in High School Musical 2.

Personal life

Shane Harper began dancing and acting at the age of 9. He was involved in community theatre and competitive dance. In the spring of 2006, a talent agent on the judging panel of a regional dance competition offered him agency representation. Shane studied martial arts from the age of 4 until he was 12. He obtained a black belt in Kempo Karate. Singing in church all of his life, Shane continues to nurture his love for music. He also plays acoustic guitar. He and his family relocated from San Diego County, California to Orange County, Ca. in 1998. He has an older sister Samantha, also a professional dancer, and a younger brother Sullivan, who models.

Career

He will portray Tim in the 2010 Bollywood film, My Name Is Khan and Matt Baker in the 2010 Rob Reiner film, Flipped. Has appeared in Dance Revolution and Re-Animated, and was an extra in Zoey 101, but got his first big break dancing for Samantha Jade in the music video "Step Up". He starred as one of the Nick 6 members on the reality dance show, Dance on Sunset [1] and was a principal dancer in the Disney Channel's High School Musical 2, (2007). [2]
