The Kitakami is a river that flows through Iwate and Miyagi Prefectures in northern Japan. At 249 km in length it is the longest river in Tohoku. The Kitakami River is also one of the cleanest rivers in Japan.
Tributaries
In Iwate Prefecture from north to south showing from which direction the water flows and the city where it empties into the Kitakami River.
