Richard Trifan

Hello Jimfbleak, Richard Trifan is the youngest child of the first family to be home-schooled in the state of New Jersey and win its case with the state Supreme Court. He has a stellar education and has continued as a classical composer who raises awareness and funding for charities in Washington, D.C. and New York. He is also a performer on major records such as YMCA (the Village People), has an MBA in marketing, and is composing the first multi-language classical opera ever written. For these (and many more!) reasons we feel this page should not have been deleted. Thank you for your consideration. Richardtrifan (talk) 17:42, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Really Nasty Editors

Hi Jim,

Is there any recourse for dealing with really nasty editors? Please look at OSX's comments in this discussion:

Talk:Hyundai_Elantra#Merger_of_Elantra_LPI_Hybrid

His nastiness here is just one of a multitude of similar posts. When someone disagrees with him, he gets nasty and starts making personal attacks, which generally focus around name-calling rather than trying to support his original argument. Maybe I should just develop a thicker skin, but one of the things I like most about Wikipedia is the general air of civility and rationality. Bad apples like this really make me mad.

Thanks for any advice! Ebikeguy (talk) 20:14, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Got your message. No worries. If you are too busy to respond, I will understand entirely. Ebikeguy (talk) 20:32, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
However, if you do find a few moments to ponder this topic, perhaps I could get you to weigh in on a related incident in which OSX has accused another editor of unfair canvassing via ANI. Topic thread is here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents#Canvassing_votes

As an unbiased, uninvolved editor who has interacted with Mariordo, the editor accused of canvassing, in the past (when I asked you to comment on certain discussions), I think your input could be extremely useful in the ANI thread. Again, if you do not have time, I will understand. Ebikeguy (talk) 15:22, 21 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion of Jejecom

Hi. I noticed that you deleted my Wikipedia article on Jejecom, stating that it is an unambiguous advertising or promotion.

As you know, our product is similar to multi-instant messaging applications such as Digsby and Trillian. How come those articles stay in Wikipedia, while my article does not? How can avoid deletion? Can you please give me a tip on making my article better and avoid deletion?

kenny miller

hello you deleted it so i will retry to insert the info Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by Senes (talkcontribs) 03:40, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison of Wikipedia page "Jordan Rudess" with deleted page "Richard Trifan" - (both keyboardists from the Juilliard school)

Dear Jim, I am Richard Trifan, a notable musician in the use of the Moog synthesizer and much other keyboard technology. A fellow named Jordan Rudess has a Wikipedia page up and running, however my page was deleted. I am trying to rebuild my page to emulate his, since I have an equivalent number of albums out, citable successes, links to million-seller albums I am on, etc. Could you take a quick look at this fellow Jordan Rudess' page and just confirm that his presentation is acceptable to Wilipedia? - so when I finish crafting my page, it is similarly seen as historical / factual (and not autobiographical, etc.)? I would appreciate that very much, and will reach out for any technical guidance as I work. Thank you. Richard Trifan 600 Stonetown Rd. Hi:

About a year ago, User:The.Filsouf merged Jargon aphasia into Aphasia. The move seems to be incomplete, as some text is missing from the article. However, since Jargon aphasia was since deleted (by you, under WP:CSD#G6), I wonder if you could undelete the article for the purpose of recovering the page revisions so that a proper merge might be performed. After undeletion, the page will be replaced with a straight redirect to Aphasia. If the deleted revisions are available elsewhere, please let me know. nneonneo talk 20:15, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that, I've completed the merge. nneonneo talk 19:49, 29 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You deleted Light Wizzard

Light Wizzard, or the other Wizzards: White or Gray; have been talked about for centuries; there is a lot of research done in the way of Aura and EKG; the only reason I can see you deleted it; was because it went against your Religious beliefs, if that is the case please let me know; so I can only post articles that do not offend your Religious Beliefs; its clear that is what I have done here, so Sorry. Tell me how to fix it first; delete first with no regards to why is just not right; I can not fix it if I am not given the chance; if its my writing skill, it can be proof read by others; I'm a disabled gulf war vet; maybe that was the issue; if so let me know; at this point I don't know, and I can only guess its one of these reasons. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TrinaryUniverse (talkcontribs) 17:16, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've got another article you may have missed when you were deleting all of mine.

I've got another article you may have missed when you were deleting all of my articles. It falls under that category: "Article about a group or club, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject". As much as I disagree with this rule, if it's a rule, it must be followed, right? The title of the article is Almighty Ambrose (added later: also Almighty Bishops and 4 Corner Hustlers). It's another street gang that's essential to the plot of other pages that mention it. Just like Spanish Cobras or Latin Counts, etc. Yeah, they're mentioned in the "People Nation" page. Hmm. That's a group. I wonder why it hasn't been deleted... Anyway, I have some problems with the way admins can delete articles without giving someone fair time nor warning to fix them. But that's just my opinion. Okay, off to find a topic to write about that I'm interested that doesn't include ANY group at all... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Attempt2onwiki (talkcontribs) 07:00, 1 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please undelete this article, which you recently speedied. The article reported that the singer had released an album on a major label, EMI, which is an assertion of significance sufficient to survive A7, and I had objected to its speedy deletion on that basis. Deleted Flashcubes page

Jim,

i just re-posted The Flashcubes page with numerous external links.

I hope this will suffice.

I was wondering whether or not I could edit the title which has my username in it?

thanks Pcprupert (talk) 08:54, 2 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
