heads up

On a quick look through this article I can't see anything about the Baxi grate, which is almost as common a usage as "Hoover" or "Biro" (well, heading in that direction!). Could someone add a section on this classic product of the company, as I think it's probably the best known usage of the word "Baxi". ==Heads up==
Just a little heads up - Baxi has been merged with another company to form BDR Thermea. Maybe a merger? Fattyjwoods Push my button 03:13, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Just a note on the lloyd web source: I don't think blogs are really reliable sources in general. Is there another source that verifies the largest employer bit? Cheers, --Bfigura (talk) 06:31, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I see that was just added. I'll be de-prodding then :) --Bfigura (talk) 06:31, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

HQ Location

The location of Derby for the company is based on the information on the company web site. But the historical origin is Lancashire. The company has a complex past due to the original trust giving ownership to the employes /or for the benefit of the former employees. Hopefuly i've made some sense of it, but if any one can add more detail to clarif it please do. The 80% now held by the private equity investors is not clear in how it fits yet or the merger with the former William plc divison - BulldozerD11 (talk) 02:30, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Edits (March 2009)

A recent block of edits have been reverted as they removed most of the references and wiki links. and added a block of material that read as lifted from a corporate source.

The updates of corporate financial data and other company structure changes at a public level if sourced will meet wikipeda inclusion requirements. But PR speak material and CV /resumes type listing of the management team (Like this) in a article of this size are not suitable, and have been removed as un sourced material any way.

common usage of term "Baxi"

On a quick look through this article I can't see anything about the Baxi grate, which is almost as common a usage as "Hoover" or "Biro" (well, heading in that direction!). Could someone add a section on this classic product of the company, as I think it's probably the best known usage of the word "Baxi". PamD (talk) 08:49, 15 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
