Ria 89.7FM is a contemporary music radio station of MediaCorp playing a unique blend of Malay, English and playing the international pop hits from Arab, French and Hindi.

Established on 1st December '1990 and launched directly from Sentosa, at 5pm. The station serves a variety of entertainment programs which are also closer to the audience with the latest news and information. Ria is a network music station of MediaCorp Radio.

Brief History

• "Stesen Pop Hits Melayu, Trend Generasi Terkini" was the first slogan for Ria 89.7fm.
• As the reformation of Ria 89.7fm effects in mid 2007, the current slogan is "Trend Muzik Terkini".
• In early 2005, Ria 89.7fm introduced the hottest famous shows like the Gakwah Arabia -playing hot lebanese music tracks and glamarous Hindi music in Bollywood Devana on weekdays morning. Gakwah Arabia was voted Ria 89.7fm most favourite programme. Gakwah Arabia and Bollywood Devana was terminated after Shah Ibrahim -music director and Ab Shaik -Assistant Programme Director left in 2008.
