Sheldon Clark High School is a public high school in Martin County, Kentucky. It is part of the Martin County School System.

History

Sheldon Clark High School (SCHS) is the successor to the former Inez and Warfield high schools. It was opened in 1971 and was named after the superintendent who held office when the school was constructed, Sheldon Clark. The mascot is the cardinal and the current principal is Robbie Fletcher as of 2009. Sheldon Clark is also the home of Special Education, being verified by the fact they scored in the negatives on the latest core content testing in Kentucky.

Football Rivalry

Sheldon Clark's annual contest against Belfry High School is the school's most significant rivalry in varsity athletics.
