I ♥ You, Pare! (known usually as I Heart You, Pare!) an upcoming Philippine romantic comedy directed by Andoy Ranay and Joyce E. Bernal for GMA Network.^[1] It is set to premiere in February 2011 - starring Regine Velasquez and Dingdong Dantes. The love story contains pseudo-homosexuality elements, where a hetrosexual man does not initially know of the woman pretending to be a homosexual man's true gender.^[2]

Pre-Production

In Mid-2010 it was announced that Regine Velasquez who had just finished her successful TV series DIVA and Dingdong Dantes who finished taping and his concluded series Endless Love the remake of KBS Korea's Autumn In My Heart, GMA Television Distribution decided to bring two of the Multi-Awarded Stars Regine Velasquez who has also partnered up with Dingdong as a co star and has sung Television Themes including the 2009 successful remake Stairway to Heaven (Philippines TV series) with the song Pag Ibig Ko'y Mapansin, and other Hits, while Dingdong Dantes has appeared in numerous productions on GMA-7 with Regine but have never worked together as a pair in Primetime Television GMA-7 gave them a different role with Regine doing her Second Primetime Series after Diva (Philippine TV series) and Dingdong Dantes who has done More than numerous Primetime Dramas are given a comedy series in the world of Gays, Homosexuals, Drag Queen in a different entertaining Comedy Series with Dingdong Dantes playing a impulsive heartbreaking Heterosexual who loses Regine Velasquez' character Tonya one night and both heartbroken meet again when her character is also part of a crime and must run away and become a drag queen to hide her hetrosexual identity, the series started Taping in Mid-November before Regine Velasquez' wedding with Singer-Songwriter and Comedian, and now OPM President, Ogie Alcasid in December 2010 and till present.

Plot

Tonya Regine Velasquez is a busy Funeral Director a family business which has been a part of her life mostly since childhood and then there is Kenneth [[Dingdong Dantes]a impulsive guy but as they cross paths little did they know that Tonya who has just recently gotten into a an accident involving Kenneth's girlfriend in a car crash with her will run away from the law and get back in Kenneth's arms as a drag queen and lie about her identity but can a impulsive guy love a real girl who is pretending to be a homosexual?

Was shot in November before preparation's of Regine Velasquez' wedding preparations to her wedding and her last debut Album before being Mrs.Regine Velasquez-Alcasid to Singer Song Writer Comedian Ogie Alcasid.
