Andree Guittcis ( Recife , February 21 of 1961 ) is a Brazilian jewelry designer awarded twice with the De Beers Diamond International Awards (1994, 2000) [1] Cousin of the writer Clarice Lispector , [2] His first art course was at the School of Fine Arts in Recife, a special course when he was only 11 years. His work illustrated a book all of the newspaper Diario de Pernambuco by journalist Lea Pabst Craven. Andree Guittcis John studied at the School Group Barbalho, the Colegio Israelita Moyses Chvarts and Boa Viagem. In 1978 the first time I go out of Brazil to study for a year as part of a pioneering group that in a semi-boarding school in Mosenzon Boarding School in the city of Magdiel in Israel . Back in Recife , he joined the Santa Maria College where he earned third place in essay contest. Only returned to study art in New York at Parsons The New School for Design in 1991.

On May 20, 1996, Andree Guittcis was recognized by the importance of his career by the Legislature of the State of Pernambuco . [3]

In 2007 at the invitation of the Monastery of St. Benedict , has created a jewel representing Brazil to be delivered to Pope Benedict XVI on his visit to Sao Paulo . [4]
