The Black-winged Snowfinch, Adams's Snowfinch or Tibetan Snowfinch (Montifringilla adamsi) is a species of bird in the sparrow family. It is found in China, India, Nepal, and Pakistan. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It is commonly resident in the Tibetan plateau region of North-West Nepal; summers 4200 – 5100 m, winters 2530 – 3445 m, on open stony hillsides, plateaux and near upland villages.[2]
