The reasons why they are longer would be original research unless they are referenced. I don't see why it just can't be mentioned in the lead that they're expanded by a couple minutes. As far as I know, the only differences are a few extra shots added. That doesn't seem to warrant a whole other section.-5- (talk) 19:59, 10 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Scifi programs pages

I am so sorry, I was not aware you were in the process of executing the by genre listings. I did not mean to step onto your turf, so to speak. I had looked in the talk page, but perhaps I was not thorough enough to look to see what others (including yourself) had planned. As for the broken code, I'm looking into going through that now. I will update you here on my progress, if you feel that'd be helpful. Thanks for your understanding, and please accept my apologies.. Kiranerys-talk 22:18, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Update on progress:
"FYI, I did notice broken ref code [ref # 45] at this page. Do you have time to fix it by recovering the original refs? If not, I'll get to it in the next couple of days"  Done
"Template:Sftvprog, Template:Sftvindex + Template:Sftvpr contents are also broken now, they need updating with new wiki URLs for all letters + the genre page chapters. Those templates also need to be copied over to the other pages, to point to the main page and the other letters."  Done
"Also, I noticed the double dash [–] has been lost in some places [i.e. 0-9 instead of 0–9], and replaced with simple dashes [-]. Those need to be fixed too."  Done
Please let me know anything else we should work on.. ThanksKiranerys-talk 23:17, 22 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, no problem, is this not what Wikipedia is all about? :) By the way, I was thinking of doing some converting perhaps of this list to a table so that way we can deprecate that by genre page, what is the process in which you did 0–9, if I may inquire ThanksKiranerys-talk 10:10, 25 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Kk, awesome, and no problem. I like being helpful :P. By the way, if I may ask (and if you're not comfortable, that's TOTALLY okay), but may I make edits to the sandbox page for the table, and then perhaps you (if you wished) could paste them into the respective pages (i.e. A or B, etc). Again, if you're not comfortable (on either, or both points), that's really okay! Kiranerys 09:44, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
One more thing, I know you mentioned this before, but perhaps I was foolish in creating the various letter pages, as without the genre section, it really brought down the article size of the original list page, and the tables would still be a manageable size I think.. Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I've not had as much time to work on the list pages, but when I find some more time, I will get to it. kiranerys(u,c) 09:34, 6 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

MS WIN 9X/ME tricks that your http://www.mdgx.com still lacks:

UNERASE.EXE from Norton Utilities 2000 (but not from crashing newer versions) after typing following command:
unerase /list /noprotected|more
lists deleted files even under Windows Me GUI.
Real DOS 8.00 on separate HDD/partition *WITHOUT PATCHES* for first time:
Windows Me OEM bootable CD inside TOOLS\NETTOOLS\FAC\LTOOLS.DTA misnamed cabinet file contains:
IO.SYS
MSDOS.SYS
COMMAND.COM
which can be used as system files on any separate HDD/partition, *WITHOUT PATCHES* of any sort.
Simply format separate HDD/partition and freshly copy these three files to main directory in given order to have
DOS 8.00 working instantly.
