In both ''[[Attack of the Clones]]'' and ''[[Revenge of the Sith]]'' as well as the ''[[Clone Wars]]'' animated series she wields a single blue lightsaber, yet in ''[[Star Wars: Battlefront II]]'' she wields a green or a purple lightsaber as well (the [[PlayStation 2]] and [[Xbox]] versions use the green, the [[PlayStation Portable|PSP]] version features the purple). However, it should be noted that it is ''only'' in this game that Aayla is depicted weilding two sabres. Aayla Secura is a fictional character in the Star Wars universe.
History
Early Years
Secura was discovered on her home planet, Ryloth, by the Jedi Quinlan Vos, who trained her as his padawan. While on Ryloth, her uncle, Pol, robbed her and Vos of their memories. Then unaware of her Force potential, she produced a huge outburst, killing her uncle, and fled the planet.
She then fell under the spell of Ancient Anzati Dark Jedi Volfe Karkko, who was being held prisoner on Kiffex. In a trance, she freed Karkko, and attacked Vos. At this time, she regained her memory, and realized what was happening. After this conflict, Vos and Secura were separated for a while. Jedi Master Tholme took over her training, and she soon became a Jedi Knight.
Clone Wars
Secura was one of the 200 Jedi sent to Geonosis to rescue Padmé Amidala, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, and one of the few survivors of the ensuing battle with Count Dooku's Separatist forces. After the Battle of Geonosis, Secura and Jedi Ylenic It'kla went undercover for a mission to Corellia.
Secura once again went undercover while trying to find Vos on The Wheel space station. She found Vos, who was distraught about what he believed to be his failure to prevent the Battle of Geonosis. Secura then reassured her Master that the battle had not been his fault, and they gathered enough information to predict the attack on Kamino. Secura flew a starfighter during that battle.
A few months later, Secura was sent to Hypori. She was one of the first to encounter General Grievous, and was one of the few survivors.

While searching for the second Sith, Secura and Tholme went to Anzat and later Saleucami, where the Separatists were building an army of Morgukai clone troopers. She flew a star fighter in the ensuing battle, which lasted for five months. When it finally ended, Secura and Bly were sent to find Barriss Offee on Felucia. Their mission was to stop the Commerce Guild from taking over the planet. Before the mission was over, however, Order 66 was issued and Bly was ordered to kill her. Secura, distracted by a bird in the sky, was not able to sense what was going on before it was too late, and died at her former comrade's hand. As stated by a 501st soldier in Battlefront II he hoped "her death was quick, she earned that much", because she had saved them from being eradicated by acklays and droids, indicating that they didn't want to kill her.
