It is my understanding that Wilson worked for many years as an engineer for McDonnell-Douglas in Los Angeles, California. However, I have not seen that any citations for that.

Partch influenced by Wilson?

Partch and Wilson were acquainted; Wilson provided drawings for Partch's book. -CKL

The layout design of the Quadrangularis Reversum (with the exception of the phallic resonator for the additional 1/1 key in front) was inspired by Wilson. Wilson also assisted Partch the composition of several scores in the early 1960s and in the development of mecahnical aids for realizing "...Petals", a score which involved complex polyryhthms. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.12.66.184 (talk) 10:12, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That sounds reasonable, but we should ensure this is verifiable via book/article/interview. --Ds13 (talk) 17:34, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Goat herding

If goat herding is one of Wilson's main activities, it belongs in a separate paragraph or section. Perhaps something like "Ranching", which could also include the bit about corn breeding. --CKL —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beefman (talkcontribs) 23:02, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blue corn breeding

Wilson cannot be "credited" as the first using blue corn for tortilla chips; because a simple reason: blue corn for tortilla chips (or “totopochtli” in nahuatl language) has been used by Native Americans before the European occupation.

Evidence for this? I seriously doubt anything like a modern tortilla chip existed before the Europeans arrived, or indeed prior to the 1850s.
