Birthday Correct?
All other sources stated her birthday as 31 December 1951... (IMDB, ....) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 84.181.112.133 (talk) 01:05, 4 February 2007 (UTC).
- Her birthdate is generally listed as 1951, although she prefers 1953 and some sources say 1945 or 1947. Metallion (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 05:20, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- That is the quote from the NNDB page. The New York Times lists 1945. I wonder if she is listed in a "Who's Who"? It might be interesting to see what year they list.—RJH (talk) 20:43, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- IMDB is not an authoritative source for birth dates. We need something more definitive. Unfortunately the more reliable sources do not agree.—RJH (talk) 17:34, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- I find it somewhat interesting that a cursory search of the historical documents of U.S. Department of State lists nobody by the name of Louis Kingsbury as an Ambassador - EVER. Either he was NOT a "Chief of Mission" aka "Ambassador" or he was a minor deputy Ambassador and not notable enough to be referenced anywhere I can find inside the massive gummint bureaucratic files the US maintains.
- Ambassadors to Nicaragua from 1938-1961 are:
- Meredith Nicholson (1938-1941)
- Pierre de Lagarde Boal (1941-1942)
- James Bolton Stewart (1942-)
- James Bolton Stewart (1943-1945)
- William Fletcher Warren (1945-1947)
- George Price Shaw (1948-1949)
- Capus Miller Waynick (1949-1951)
- Thomas Edward Whelan (1951-1961)
- I would suggest that a reference to his being an Ambassador is a fictitious creation from Ms. Carrera's publicist and not factual. i4 aka IdioT.SavanT.i4 (talk) 04:53, 19 September 2009 (UTC)
- That could be, or else the sources have it confused. The book titled A biographical handbook of Hispanics and United States film says only that her father was "an American employee of the US embassy". Is there anything listed about diplomatic couriers?—RJH (talk) 16:24, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Science Fictology
The following text has been tagged as unsourced since at July.
- At some point she was involved with scientology, but left shortly afterwards.[citation needed]
I could not find a reputable source for this; only off-repeated statements without proper backing. I'm moving it here until an authoritative reference can be found. Sorry if this is an issue.—RJH (talk) 19:06, 15 December 2008 (UTC)
Spelling
A name is spelled variously as "Harden" and "Barden".
- "Harden" seems to be the most frequently used and is mentioned by more reliable sources. Regards, RJH (talk) 18:43, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
