Is there any way to just unblock the account creation? This is a dorm used by many, and some of us actually use wikipedia for good. I apologize for the vandalism... I thought this IP was just blocked for a week... I just checked and our block is set to expire in February. I've tried to create an account, but never received a reply. Can't I just give you the guys contact info so you can prosecute him, instead of punishing the innocent along with him? We don't prosecute anybody, we just protect Wikipedia. This is the forth block on this address - hence the length, each block gets longer, until (usually) 1 year max for an IP. I suspect the create an account (by form or e-mail) is handled by volunteers - thus it will not be "by return" - you may have to wait a week or two.
