The five members of the group, dubbed "Hwanhee Boys" at the time, were trained by Hwanhee for two years; he acted as their vocal trainer and [[record producer]]. The group, who used to be known as Hwanhee’s Boys, has a total of five members. The members consist of Seyong, Insoo, and Gunwoo. H2 Media added the highschool students JoonQ and Chaejin, whose birth years range from 1995 to 1988. H2 Media stated, “A spectacular performance and song has been prepared that incorporates the strengths and charms unique to MYNAME.”


While in middle school, Seyong was a trainee for [[JYP Entertainment]] for three years, starting from 2007.
