Corey William Large (18 October 1975) is a Canadian writer, actor and producer of feature movies.[1]
Early Years
Large was born and raised in in the Prospect Lake area of Sannich, the northwestern part of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
After elementary school he enrolled at St. Michael’s University School a private school with alumni like Steve Nash and dreamed of a career in professional baseball before injury ended his playing days.
Tall at 6 ‘ 2” and athletic at 210 pounds, he soon found work as a male model and it led to an interest in acting and at 21-years-old he moved across the Georgia Strait and enrolled at the Vancouver Film School and later American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.
Large has always made it a point to get back to Victoria when he can. He returned to St. Michael's University School in 2003 to act and direct in Window Theory a movie he also produced which was released in 2005. Acting with him in that film was Luke Flynn,Hollywood legend Errol Flynn's grandson. The two have collaborated on many projects and are working with former Los Angeles Kings owner Bruce McNalll to make a movie about the exploits of the original Hollywood swashbuckler called In Like Flynn. that project has been delayed many times but remains a work in progress.
Large's relationship with McNall dates back to the mid-1980s when as a young kid Large skipped school to watch the Kings practice before a Vancouver Canucks game. Spotting McNall, he approached him and told him he wanted to go to Los Angles and make movies. McNall chuckled and told him to look him up if he did. Eight years later, Large did just that and has formed a friendship and business relationship.
As promised in July 2012, Large returned to his native Victoria, B.C. to begin shooting a series of movies.
Career
His early career featured minor parts in shows like 21 Jump Street which was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia with then ingénue Johnny Depp and Breaker High which featured actors like fellow Canadian Ryan Gosling which was shot in Burnaby, B.C.

Wingman Productions
Wingman Productions is based in Santa Monica and consists of Large, partner Alan Pao and collaborating writer Kyle Kramer who have written, produced, co-starred in and sold several full-length features to Hollywood studios.
Through their company, Large and Pao have co-produced and acted in films such as Penthouse (2009), Loaded (2008), with Gossip Girl heart throb Chace Crawford and former English soccer-star-turned-cinematic-hard-man Vinnie Jones (Snatch, Gone in 60 Seconds).
