Succession issue
FR Yugoslavia (strarting 1992), Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia are all considered predecessors of Serbia, not a different team, and you are separating all of them in your edits. FkpCascais (talk) 19:03, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
FR Yugoslavia and the federation of Serbia and Montenegro are the same country, no doubt.
I heard something about that there was an agreement between Serbia and Montenegro about sports heritage. Do you know anything about that? Pantagana (talk) 17:03, 25 September 2011 (UTC)
- No, actually, FR Yugoslavia, Serbia and Montenegro and Serbia are counted as same for statistics in basketball (in football for exemple even SFRY counts to Serbia as well). All I know is that unfortunatelly for Montenegro, they start from begining, while Serbia gets counted all FRY and S&M records. I think you are uninformed about the succession rights atributed to Serbia by FIBA, but they actually exist and there is no expectation that anything will change in future with regard of that, and no one is challenging that. FkpCascais (talk) 00:15, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
I mean about an agreement about sports heritage between Serbia and Montenegro, not FIBA's opinion. Pantagana (talk) 14:32, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
In basketball, FIBA does attibute to each successor of Yugoslavia separately. Please see http://www.fiba.com/pages/eng/fc/FIBA/fibaHist/p/openNodeIDs/987/selNodeID/987/fibaHist.html This is not my imagination, this is what FIBA wrote. Why do you neglect that? Why do you keep on reverting that from the articles? Pantagana (talk) 14:36, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry, I haven´t answered you earlier because I didn´t had the proper time to digg more into it and I ended up afterwords being abscent for 3 weeks. Anyway, the list you provided me seems to list every name change separately which sounds a bit absurd in the FR Yugoslavia/Serbia&Montenegro case at least. I apologise for not having answered you earlier. FkpCascais (talk) 02:51, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
Hello
Hello Pantagana, I just wanted to let you know that I took a look at your recently created article Slobodan Ivković-- It would be great if you could also clean-up the related article Player-coach.
It's nice to see you editing! Jipinghe (talk) 18:23, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for November 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Emilio Kovačić, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page NAIA (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
