== Kostyantyn edits ==

Hi Yulia,
Firstly i would like to thank you for my welcome message it was very informative. I have been working on the Kostyantyn page we have both been recently editing though i have not yet made the information i have sourced live, i have noticed that you have recently added information about his political career which i have also worked on. I have a indepth draft ready to go live it will overlap with some of the information that you recently added so i will take that out and add to mine to get a better finished product. I also sent a email do you about the name to see your opinion on that matter. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the advice on the first page i have been working on heavily.

Thanks! It's a hobby . — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 22:42, 16 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Well, abandon it ASAP. A very demotivating depressive topic. I'm trying to stay away from it when possible. Let us workaround the tourist and economy articles instead. Thanks again, Ukrained2012 (talk) 00:33, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I understand but if every editor would ignore topics about Ukrainian politics they will be outdated soon. And that would give readers of the English Wikipedia a very strange (and incorrect) image of Ukraine. But feel free to ignore them; I don't want to make you feel bad. So just feel free to do what you want and to File:"Village People" smiley (animated).gif. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 17:40, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your DYK nomination

Hi, regarding your DYK nomination: there's a maximum of 200 characters allowed in a hook. (See WP:DYK#The hook.) Yours, at 297 characters, is well over the limit, so you will have to either supply a new hook, or edit the current one down. Additionally, if the picture is to be used, the hook must incorporate a (pictured), which does not count in the character allowance. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 00:33, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I did not know this.Sorry I missed this rule. Thanks for the heads up! I am conceptualizing on how to shorten it now. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 00:42, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 01:14, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

UEFA Euro 2020 bids

So, why is the article not allowed to show cities who bid? A bid is a bid is a bid irregardless of whether it's countries who are allowed to bid or cities who are allowed to bid. Kingjeff (talk) 20:04, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

What I did on Talk:UEFA Euro 2020 was making a suggestion; not an ukaze. Wikipedia:Consensus will decide what is allowed on Wikipedia. I have no desire to decide for others what is not allowed regarding Euro 2020.
UEFA announced on 6 December 2012 that it had made the decision to host the tournament in multiple cities across Europe. I think it would become not handy (if not to say: a complex puzzle) to have information on countries who wanted the whole tournament and cities who want a part of the new set up of the tournament on one page. Besides the bidding for the tournament and for being a host city in the new set up look to me to be 2 different things. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 20:41, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The earlier name?

The Verkhovna Rada (English transliteration from Ukrainian: Верховна Рада) is claimed to be the present-day name of the Ukrainian parliament, but what was the name earlier, 1938-1990? --212.226.40.176 (talk) 11:21, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Good point! Apparently Supreme Soviet. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 20:26, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I just adjusted Verkhovna Rada to your wishes . — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 20:43, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How it is possible, that parliament was 1938-1990 in Ukrainian: Верховна рада, Verkhovna rada and in [Supreme Soviet or Supreme Council] Error: {{Lang-xx}}: text has italic markup (help), but now, when the name is still in Ukrainian: Верховна Рада, in English it would be only a transliteration from the Ukrainian name Verkhovna Rada? --212.226.59.248 (talk) 02:56, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't make up these common English names for European parliaments (if so I would call the Russian one the "Putin fan club parliament" and the Ukrainian one "sometimes it almost looks like a parliament parliament"). But on Wikipedia we have no choose then to use common English names. And Verkhovna Rada is the common English name for the Verkhovna Rada. — Yulia Romero • Talk to me! 22:49, 29 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Falsification of the article "Criminal cases against Tymoshenko in 2010"

This article (Criminal cases against Yulia Tymoshenko since 2010) is no neutral. I am the author of this article in the Ukrainian and Russian Wiki.

Dear, Yulia Romero. What's going on? You faking article "Criminal cases against Yulia Tymoshenko since 2010". You specify "all the terrible accusations from Yanukovych" - with a look that is true. But you throw the fact that 90% of criminal cases had collapsed.

I say that Yulia Romero falsifies this article in the interest of the parties Yanukovych. And trying to create a view that Tymoshenko guilty of the absurd deeds. ** See Wiki Ukrainian and Russian, which provides a true picture - this opinion the U.S. government, the European Union, Russia, global democratic organizations.--Vles1 (talk) 11:26, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
