: Great! An organization that coordinates much of the radiation and nuclear safety strategy of 300 million people is ''not notable''. Neither convincing, Wikipedia, nor appealing to common sense - nor motivating, for that matter. I thought also ''other'' editors could develop stubs - I guess I misunderstood how this community works... --[[User:Ronja Addams-Moring|Ronja]] ([[User talk:Ronja Addams-Moring#top|talk]]) 15:21, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Adoptee questions and comments

No adoptees at the moment - too busy in Real Life (TM). --Ronja (talk) 21:05, 13 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was just browsing through the Finnish Wikipedia (I don't speak Finnish, I was just looking and I typed in English... it lead me to a junk page written in ENGLISH on the FINNISH Wikipedia. Just wanted to let one of you guys know. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.59.106.216 (talk) 04:49, 6 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hoping this is appropriate. Someone wants to link to http://pikkuprinssinpaluu.fi/ from The Little Prince#Sequels. What is the content of that page? —Tamfang (talk) 00:12, 28 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kudos and other feedback

Colbert

Thanks for the compliment. People don't compliment each other enough on Wikipedia. Given all the arguments I've been in the middle of, it's really nice to hear your kind words.

Excellent rewrite of the intro. It's something we struggled with, when we all were first creating the article, but it never really seemed to gel. You must have some magic writing dust — it's amazing how fast you took a really really degenerated intro and made it shine. Your user page says that you've been a user since June 15, 2006. We could have really used you in May.

It's always nice working with talented contributors. Hopefully, we'll cross wiki-paths again in the future. -- Brian.fsm 05:35, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is there anybody out there?

Hey... Since you've been inactive for over two months, I removed your entry from the Adopter's page. I do hope you come back, however, so I left your entry in a hidden comment within this message. I hope life is treating you well! xenocidic (talk) 03:03, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yes, but Real Life gets in the way sometimes...

Thank's! That was actually quite appropriate, as I have been very busy with work and studies and will remain so for at least one more month, hopefully more (that's the work part - it is nice to be able to make some money, too... :-) --Ronja (talk) 17:29, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! Best of luck with the studies. Cheers, xenocidic (talk) 17:52, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Interwikitionary

Hi/Terve/Hej Ronja!

Interwiki linking is a rather nice feature, and may even be used as a kind of advanced dictionary (as one of my colleagues points out for their students).

I followed the link to your French user page; and after that, I just tested Wikipedia:Interwiki. This soon led me to the French "official" translations Lien interwiki and lien inter-langue for Interwiki link. If you incidently are interested. (Mostly, I was interested in how braver people make French user pages... I've not dared yet...)

Jee Hevisaurus!

Hi Ronja A-M!
I know MySpace is not a reliable reference, but could you possibly have a look at http://www.myspace.com/hevisaurus? If you could give me an idea of what each profile is in English, I may possibly be able to find reliable refs to add to the character profiles in the Hevisaurus article. Thank you!

QRpedia

Hi,

QRpedia is a project of Wikimedia UK, to help people find Wikipedia articles in their preferred language. Please can you translate en:QRpedia into Finnish, or encourage others to do so? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 19:01, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I answered on your talk page: User_talk:Pigsonthewing#Swedish_Wikipedia --Ronja (talk) 17:33, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Heads of European Radiological protection Competent Authorities (HERCA) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 20:11, 16 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up. I checked Candidates for speedy deletion, and did not find the page listed, and there was no notice on the (moved) page itself, now Heads of European Radiological Protection Competent Authorities, so I guess all is well? --Ronja (talk) 04:59, 18 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Heads of European Radiological Protection Competent Authorities, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page European (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:54, 17 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Heads of European Radiological Protection Competent Authorities has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 23:08, 29 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
