A Bit of Trivia

I don't know if its worthwhile to mention in a trivia section, but John Wayne's guest appearance on I Love Lucy was peppered with plugs for the movie.

(quotes not literal)

"Hey Mr. Wayne, does this gigantic poster for Blood Alley suffice for a final print?"

"Sure Charlie."

"Sure I'll imprint my shoes, but I'm going to be late for the premiere of my latest movie, Blood Alley."

Another Blood Alley in Vancouver

Seeing that the real Bloody Alley was in Shanghai, it could be that Vancouver's was named for it; the name was established by 1870, for a back lane behind the original gaol (still standing as a part of a restaurant) and has city street-signage today. it's the alley between Water and Cordova Streets, running between Carrall and Abbott; and I think it may also be the name of a building on its north side.Skookum1 (talk) 23:10, 21 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
