Max von Zedtwitz (born in Switzerland) is a global innovation scholar, founder of GLORAD[1] and professor at various universities in Europe and China.

Professional Background

Max von Zedtwitz obtained a M.Sc. in Computer Science from ETH-Zurich, and a MBA in Technology Management and a Ph.D. in Management from the University of St. Gallen. He worked in nucleonics research at ATR-International in Japan, software development at Siemens-Stromberg-Carlsson in Florida, USA and as a postdoctoral visiting fellow at Harvard University. SUbsequently, he was professor of technology management at IMD, professor of innovation management at Tsinghua University, professor of strategy at Peking University, and professor of management at Tongji University[2], Grenoble school of management, Nyenrode Business University, University of St. Gallen,[3], and Chalmers University of Technology. He also was managing director of AsiaCompete Ltd and Vice President of PRTM Management Consultants, based in China. He currently is managing director of GLORAD, a research center and think-tank for global R&D management and reverse innovation.
