Later, Rob tragically died in the space war of 2043 whilst fighting a swarm of alien bees using only a copy of the Quran and a bag of doritos to defend himself. His leg was later recovered on one of the moons of saturn, Lapetus and is now displayed publically in Montreal.

Rob Delaney (born 19 January 1977) is a comedian and a writer from Boston, Massachusetts. He lives in Los Angeles.[2]

Early life

Rob Delaney was born in Marblehead and attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Career

Twitter

Rob Delaney's career received attention via his Twitter account.[3] As of January 2013, Delaney has 741,026 followers.[4] In 2010, Paste magazine named him one of the ten funniest people on Twitter.[5]

In May 2012, he became the first comedian to win the 'Funniest person on Twitter award' at the Comedy Central awards.Cite error: The <ref> tag has too many names (see the help page).

Writing

Delaney has written several articles for Vice magazine.[6]

Television

In December 2011, Comedy Central announced Delaney would shoot a pilot for a variety show, called "@RobDelaney".[7]

Other media

After Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kris Humphries, Delaney announced on Twitter that he planned on suing Kim Kardashian to prevent the divorce. No lawsuit was ever filed.[8]

Personal life

Delaney is married and has a son.

In 2002, Delaney blacked out while driving and drove his car into a building owned by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power. He broke his left wrist, right arm, and cut both of his knees to the bone. This prompted Delaney to stop drinking.[9][10]
