Noam Jenkins is a Canadian actor, perhaps best known for his recurring role as detective Jerry Barber in the Canadian drama series Rookie Blue. He is also known for guest-starring in numerous TV shows such as Deep in the City, Earth: Final Conflict, and Covert Affairs, and for playing Michael Marks in Saw II.

Biography

He often plays ethnic characters, (mostly Mestizos, Arabs, and Central Asians), due to his unique looks.[citation needed]

Jenkins jokingly stated in an interview that he is irrationally annoyed when people mispronounce his name, which is pronounced /noəm/, as /nom/, because they make it sound like the word "gnome" as in "garden gnome".[1]
