Firstly, we have: "In a number of European countries (Spain,...)". Spain is not a variety of European countries. It's a single nation.

Title

This article has a terrible title. It implies that birth is postponed, rather than pregnancy itself (which is a weird mental image). I propose changing it to "Postponing Pregnancy". Comments? Lex Kitten (talk) 10:29, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

even better, this link[1] claims that the medical title is "advanced maternal age". I propose changing this article to "advanced maternal age". Lex Kitten (talk) 10:37, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger to Maternal age effect

Rationale at Talk:Maternal age effect#Proposed merger from Advanced maternal age. For clarity's sake, please keep discussion of the proposed merger on a single page, at Talk:Maternal age effect#Proposed merger from Advanced maternal age.69.2.87.205 (talk) 15:08, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Terrible Geography

I notice there seems to be a terrible lack in geographic knowledg in this article.

Firstly, we have: "In a number of European countries (Spain),...". Spain is not a 'variety of European countries'. It's a single nation.

Secondly we have: "Asia, Japan and the United States are all seeing average age at first birth on the rise,.." Japan is in Asia.

Perhaps a cleanup of the geography will make this article actually sound academic in nature. Thanks.
