Launch
Al Aan TV launched Al Aan FM in August 2012 in Libya, the FM launched in Syria with a concrete grid in October 2012 broadcasting live from the UAE.[1]
Content
The grid contains six hours of live content targeting the Syrian audience by taking live phone calls from Syria and continuous news on their situations in different parts of Syria.
Coverage and reach
More transmitters are being installed in Syria to be able to reach every city in Syria. Libya and Syria have fixed transmitters to reach the target audience.
Another three hours of live are dedicated to both Libya and Syria highlighting the latest tweets (@alaanfmradio).[2]
Al Aan FM has been launched to target the PAN Arab via Al Aan application. It has been download over 160,000 times in the past year.[3]
