George Clements adopting
I have no doubt that George Clements is a great man and I fully respect him and all the wonderful things he does.
With that said, On September 23rd 1976 in Winston Salem N.C, Father Leon Malter Bolich (An Oblate of St. Francis de Sales) adopted 10 year old "Ronnie". It took him 2-3 years to get permission from the church and going through the process with the Department of Social Services and was granted permission by the Court. Father Leon Bolich led the Holy Cross church in Kernersville N.C for many years and where he and his adopted son enjoyed many blessed memories.
This conflicts with the information that George Clements was the first in 1981.
