Added unref tag

I added an "unreferenced" tag to this article because the only external reference provided for this rather detailed, lenghty article is "The Governor Stephen McNichols Collection at the Colorado State Archives" website. In fact, a great deal of the bio appears to have been copied and pasted from the biography on that site.

That leaves me with two concerns:

  1. If the article was literally copied verbatim from that site, there might be a copyright violation.
  2. Either way, this article could probably use other independent sources for verification of the facts. Right now the only source listed is a site that commemorates the subject. To help show lack of bias, it would be useful to have some additional independent cross-references.

So it's possible this article will require a rewrite to avoid copyright problems, and it would be nice to have some references other than just the one website. Dugwiki 23:44, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
