The eligibility of Megawati Sukarnoputri is disputable. She was elected president of Indonesia in 2001. The Electoral Council denied her her victory and made her Vice-President instead. The man who became president instead of Sukarnoputri proved incompetent and was removed, elevating Sukarnoputri to the post.
