The Tabriz khanate was one of the Azerbaijani khanates. The centre of the khanate was Tabriz. One of the prominent khans was Amiraslan Arashli-Afshar. During his reign, Tabriz khanate broadened its boundaries by occupying Ardabil, Khalkhal[disambiguation needed], and certain parts of southern Azerbaijan.
