Starting in the late 1990s, it started taking market share away from the Cable News Network. FOX News Channel prominently claims that it is less biased and more factual than the other networks, and this claim attracts conservatives who believe that other news channels are dominated by persons with liberal bias. Conversely, many liberals accuse Fox of having a conservative bias.
Like the rest of FOX, it is owned by Australia's, News Corporation.
The CEO, Chairman, and President of Fox News is Roger Ailes.
