Hector_Jimenez-Bravo

Hello, I have a feeling that Chef martin joel vasquez is not going to be back to tell us his concerns about Hector_Jimenez-Bravo ;)
In any case, I think the article does read like a promotional piece, too many of the sources are pointing to his own website, and too many details are included in the article that should not be there. Can you take care of the pruning? If not, let me know and I will try to find some time. --Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 06:44, 15 October 2014 (UTC)

What do you think about this approach to at least bring it a bit closer to guidelines?

1. Eliminate most of the 8 references that point to the BLP's own website (not necessarily the content).
2. Eliminate excessive details (that could be deemed promotional regardless of weather they are properly sourced) in the text.

You are correct, self-published sources can be used for non-controversial non-promotional when no other sources can be found. In this case I think it has been abused. I know of a board to improve translated articles, but it is geared towards improving readability. I don´t know of any noticeboard to help verify references in foreign languages.
