Kill/Dil (English: Kill/Heart) is an Indian romantic action drama film directed by Shaad Ali and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles, with Govinda portraying the antagonist.[3] The film released on 14 November 2014.[4][5][6]
Plot
Two killers – Tutu (Ali Zafar) and Dev (Ranveer Singh) were nurtured by Bhaiyaji (Govinda) who trained them to be killers. Dev falls in love with Disha (Parineeti Chopra).

Production
Shaad Ali described Kill Dil as "a film about the tricks the heart plays on an unsuspecting victim of love. Ali and Ranveer is pukka for the male lead."[7] There were reports that Deepika Padukone would be playing the female lead.[8] However, it was later officially declared that Parineeti Chopra had signed to do that role. Govinda will be doing the role of the antagonist in this film.[6][8]
Early on in February 2014, many shots of the movie are taken in Gautam Buddha University and Galgotias University, Greater Noida and also at Grand Venice Greater Noida. Ali, Ranveer Singh and Govinda share the dance floor in the movie.[9] Through March the film was shot at various locations in Delhi.[10] Later in April 2014, a schedule of the film with leads Ali Zafar, Ranveer Singh and Parineeti Chopra was shot at Lavasa And (Kharghar) Mumbai in Maharashtra.[11][12] Film cast promoting Kill Dil at Comedy Nights With Kapil Show on 8 November 2014.
Critical reception
The Times of India called the trailer "impressive".[13]
The Gulf News said that the storyline had " been regurgitated by several Bollywood filmmakers with mediocre success" and that Singh's performance was the "saving grace".[14]

The title song of the film sung by Sonu Nigam and Shankar Mahadevan was released on 25 September 2014.
Another single "Sweeta" sung by Adnan Sami was released on 2 October 2014.
