Tomay Amay Mile is a Bengali television serial from GEC STAR Jalsha.It is a remake of the soap Diya Aur Baati Hum ,which is aired on STAR Plus. As Jisshu Sengupta, the producer, said at the Star Jalsha awards ceremony, the title of the soap was given by the renowned film maker, late Rituparno Ghosh.
Plot summary
The story shows a 20 year old college student , Ushoshi Mitra, whose dream is to become an IPS officer, and Nishith Ghosh, a sweet-maker. Ushoshi is a very determined girl and is respectful towards elders , while Nishith is a soft hearted guy, beloved of his parents.While Ushoshi is an extremely educated and brilliant, talentd girl, Nishith is only a Class 8- pass fellow.
