Life after Hip Hop

On 10/03/1996 Ronald Savage passed the SECURITY GUARD 8 Hour Pre-Assignment course and became a Security Guard. That is when he found his love and passion for helping the community. 9 years later he started a News Letter called Buzz Entertainment addressing issues in the community City Council Member Annabel Palma noticed Ron's work and took a liking to his strong fighting voice for the community. Ron then started a non for profit organization called United Coalition Association later to become known for hosting the New York State College Fair Day.

Politics

In 2006 Ron Savage was elected to the New York State Democrat Committee in 2009 he became the VP for Former NYS Assemblyman Peter M. Rivera's Community Democrat Club gaining much political clout. He also has spoken on the floor three times at the New York State Democrat Convention introducing resolutions to the floor. Ronald Savage is one of the few people who was born with Tourette Syndrome and suffers from mental depression illnesses to be elected by the people as an Elected Office. In 2012, Ron lost his seat after Assemblyman Peter M. Rivera left to become the Commissioner of the New York State Labor Dept. Ron did not campaign for his reelection and was not in his normal state of mind to which if he was he would have won his reelection hands down. Ron was going through a divorce and a custody battle for his three children along with a court case against his wife's boyfriend Danial Harris for him threating Ron's life and mentally abusing his three children. Instead, Ron helped campaign for Luis Sepulveda who was running for State Assembly. Louis had told Ron that he still would have Ron run for State Committee on his petitions even after Ron being forced and threaten to testify against him and State Senator Ruben Diaz two years prior when Louis ran against Assemblyman Peter M Rivera for State Assembly. Ron Savage was credited for Peter's win that year. Ron wanted to campaign and run on Louis petitions after Peter left office and again Ron was being threatened and made to feel bad by being told he needs to go down with the ship in the race with Louis running against Danny Figueroa who was Peter's Chief of Staff who was running for Peter's seat in the State Assembly. (Peter was never aware of Ron being threaten) Ron was told if it was not for Danny speaking with Peter that Ron would not have never been the State Committeeman for the 76 Assembly District and Ron was being called a sellout. He was also told if he ran on Louis Petitions he was going to be put up against someone he could not beat in a race for State Committee. Ron was told if he wrote a letter to Louis Sepulveda stating that he did not want to be on Louis petitions and that he wanted to be on Danny's petitions then Danny would not run someone against him. Ron then forcefully wrote the letter and gave it to Louis's campaign office. After writing the letter and giving it to Louis camp, Ron felt real down and just stayed away from everyone but still helped get people to sign Louis's election petitions (green sheets). Danny's Campaign put Ron on their petitions and Louis ran William Rivera against Ron Savage. Ron came around to Danny's campaign to talk with Danny's campaign camp to make sure after the race they would still be friends, Ron told them that he is not campaigning for his seat and his #1 goal was getting full custody of his three children. Ron also told them that he is friends with Louis and he is campaigning with Louis even though Louis is running William Rivera against him. Ron knew his heart was no longer in politics after being used. Ron ended up losing the race 2,400 votes to 986 votes. William had the backing of State Senator Ruben Diaz and was on all of Louis Sepulveda campaign flyers to which Ron did not put out any campaign flyers until a few days before the elections by then the damage had already been done.
