I keep doing it by mistake. I can't polish it when I have "editing conflicts"...this is a drag. I should've typed everything out at once and then listed. Not to go through this hassle.

Hey there! I wanted to drop you a note because I have been participating in the discussion about deleting the Samson Hartland article. I can see from the other notes on your talk page that you may have had a bit of "trial by fire" in some areas of Wikipedia. I wanted to make a couple of points to you in more clear language that might help you. I think the bulk of your trouble with the Samson Hartland article comes from two things:

• It is considered to be in bad taste to write an article about yourself, or about an organization you are involved in, mainly because you cannot be unbiased in your writing. Encyclopedia articles need to be unbiased - review the Wikipedia page on neutral point of view, one of our essential policies. Generally it is felt that if you are indeed notable, someone else will notice and be inclined to write an article about you.
• Your article really does meet the notability guidelines laid out in WP:BIO. Bullet three states that local political figures (which you are) are not considered notable for this encyclopedia unless they have received significant press coverage. That doesn't mean you haven't - it just means that your article does not PROVE you have. Wikipedia articles must be verifiable; otherwise, they don't belong here. It is the article's responsibility to assert notability, and your articles does not do so. That is why people are stating that it should be deleted.
