== SchooLinks Draft ==

Hi,

I have been through the submission process a number of times. I have asked for help and different editors have told me different things, and one even helped make some changes before the draft was rejected.

What specifically do I need to change in order for the draft to be accepted?

Thanks!

Draft User:MondeR/sandbox Rejected

Hello Kethrus - My article for Ramona Sakiestewa was rejected! I had really thought I had understood all the guidelines for an article on her. Is there any specific portion or segment of the article that's keeping it from being approved? I appreciate your sharing your critique and any clarification on what I am missing. Thanks Tons. Robin : MondeR — Preceding unsigned comment added by MondeR (talkcontribs)

@MondeR: Please can you link the article? I can't find an article called Ramona Sakiestewa. If you link me the revision I'd be happy to tell you why it was rejected. --I am Kethrus Talk to me! 03:45, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@MondeR: It appears I was confused about the rejection of your draft, I thought it was a pending change that I rejected. As for the article draft, it was rejected because it did not cite any sources at all, so I was unable to establish notability. --I am Kethrus Talk to me! 03:47, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kethrus: The piece is at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:MondeR/sandbox.
I put it in the sandbox so then requested a review so I can get it approved prior to going live. I included a citation with the block quote - it appears as a footnote in the Reference section. Thanks - Robin — Preceding unsigned comment added by MondeR (talkcontribs) 04:04, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@MondeR: I've moved it to the draft space. Instead of adding lots of external links, consider adding inline citations. As I see there is only one citation which isn't enough for the article to be accepted. --I am Kethrus Talk to me! 04:13, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Kethrus! The Draft space is definitely easier to edit within. I went ahead and made a number of inline citations using the publication sources. I then removed said sources from the Further Reading section. I think it should be in pretty good shape. Please let me know if there are any other segments that need refinement. I appreciate your help! - MondeR - Robin https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Ramona_Sakiestewa

can you help me, sorry for bother

@Kethrus: Apologies sir, but there seems to be more activity on my wikipedia entry from the same people who were editing it before, negatively, along with the account of my wife melissa chiu. i have added 2 requests to the talk page for benjamin Genocchio for editors to review what i believe are factual errors that have been inserted into the entry over the last 48 hours. They are continuing to edit the entry but i am staying out of it lest i be accused again of a conflict-- this is what they used, over my wife's account, to block me before. i really don't know why my tiny entry and that of my wife have become the subject of such fascination for these two editors. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bgenocchio (talkcontribs)

@Bgenocchio: I'd rather not get involved in such a dispute, if you feel the need you might want to bring it up with an administrator at WP:ANI - please only do this if you've tried to come to a resolution with those editors before. --I am Kethrus Talk to me! 08:19, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Helping Me with My Draft Article

You have new message/s Hello. You have a new message at Steven Rich in Panama's talk page.

Dear Kethrus,

I left you a message on my Help Me after I followed your good advice and made changes to my Lead section in my Draft. I just want you to revisit to see my changes and make more suggestions. Thanks. Steven Rich in Panama (talk) 14:41, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

checkY I've replied! --  Kethrus |talk to me  14:40, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Kethrus,
Thanks you for the advice and looking at the Lead. As for Notability and using reliable sources, Grayfell helped me with those and he deleted a lot of citations which were not notable or independent sources. What I can't figure out is How do I Move the Article out of the Draft stage into Publication? Can you explain the steps I need to do to get this article published or show me a link where I can go to get it published? Thanks. -Steven Rich in Panama (talk) 17:08, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Steven Rich in Panama: To submit it, add {{subst:submit}} to the top of the page and a reviewer will review it, and either accept it or suggest improvements. --  Kethrus |talk to me  17:18, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have a message!

You have new message/s Hello. You have a new message at ggiacos's talk page.

@Ggiacos: You didn't leave me a message. --  Kethrus |talk to me  23:59, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Just wrote in the Talk page, not sure how to leave a message specifically?— Preceding unsigned comment added by ggiacos (talkcontribs)
@Ggiacos: Please dont remove messages from my talk page, even if you're involved with the conversation, it makes it harder for me and everyone else to understand what is going on. From what I can see your talk page has no content, if you want to leave me a message you can add {{ping|Kethrus}} to your talk page, and follow it with a message. Also, please remember to sign your posts with ~~~~ --  Kethrus |talk to me  14:36, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi :)

Hello Kethrus, my nomination was in good faith, do not take it otherwise. I am aware of WP:VALIDALT but I felt somebody is trying to impersonate you, so I took precautionary step. However, thank you for the confirmation. Regards. Hitro talk 21:28, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@HitroMilanese: No worries. I created the account because I don't like logging into other computers while out for security reasons. --  Kethrus |talk to me  21:30, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
HitroMilanese, thank you for the report. Kethrus, thank you for the confirmation. These reports are always welcome. -- zzuuzz (talk) 21:31, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mudar Zahran

Hi. I have protected Mudar Zahran for 1 week, due to concerns about potential WP:BLP violations. You will be aware that the inclusion of various pieces of potentially libelous (albeit sourced) information has been included and reverted over the past few days, and that concerns have been raised about the reliability of those sources. I am hoping that all involved parties could try to reach agreement on the sources while the page is protected via discussion of the article's talk page. I am posting this message on the talk page of all editors that appear to have been involved in adding or reverting the information. TigerShark (talk) 23:30, 20 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Noted, I think I may have reverted a few edits on that article. Other than that I've had no involvement as far as I remember. --  Kethrus |talk to me  16:45, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

14:39:44, 21 September 2015 review of submission by Beverlz

Can quoting from obituaries and other articles in newspapers be accepted? Not sure if I can find an obituary for 1959. I only have the newspaper articles. I know of no other way to substantiate the information. I do have shipping records that show when he immigrated to US. I have his marriage certificate. I have copy of where his grave is. Are those the kind of things that will accepted? Beverlz (talk) 14:39, 21 September 2015 (UTC)Beverlz[reply]

@Beverlz: There are no references at all, and it appears to be written like an essay. And I don't believe text in an obituary may adhere to a neutral point of view, so quoting it may be a bad idea, and I'm also not sure if that would be copyvio. --  Kethrus |talk to me  16:40, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

R. Baxter Miller

Yes, THE subject edited the page that was established by SOMEONE ELSE. By objective accounts, R. Baxter Miller is one of the leading African American critics of the late 20th and early twenty-first centuries. See BLACK SOUTHERN VOICES (1992) OR simply Google the scores of web pages that document the importance of his scholarship. The author Raoullah (sp?) is a libelous graduate student with a vendetta. Rather than discrediting a well-respected scholar, he dishonors himself.

It's libelous incompetence, and, you know, it's really sad.

Speedy deletion declined: Global Cycling Network

Hello Kethrus. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Global Cycling Network, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is a credible claim of notability on this page. Whether or not this actually meets WP:GNG is not in the domain of A7. If you do not believe that this is a sufficient claim of notability, take it to WP:AFD. A7 does not mean "not notable" - it means "no claim of notability was made". That is clearly not true here. Thank you. Shirik (Questions or Comments?) 20:49, 21 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Help

Hello Kethrus!

I am currently writing an article for my client Spark and am having a hard time finding reliable sources because most sources are not based off any database or "reliable" website. Any help?

Best regards! — Preceding unsigned comment added by SparkOfficial (talkcontribs) 02:55, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@SparkOfficial: Quoted from WP:42: We need sources that are independent. Not: articles written by the topic, paid for by the topic, their website, or press releases. We want readers to be able to verify that Wikipedia articles are not just made up. So, please add footnotes to your article. If independent sources are not available - Spark is unfortunately not eligible for a Wikipedia article. Taking a look at WP:42 will explain this to you. Sorry! --  Kethrus |talk to me  03:00, 23 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
