In 2012, it organised an exhibition of paintings, photographs of various artists and posters, pamphlets of several NGOs working on gender and sexuality rights. The Kolkata Rainbow Pride Festival (KRPF) is an open collective of individuals, networks and organizations that supports LGBT rights in the city of Kolkata in India. It was formed on 1st May, 2011 to take the initiative of organising Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walk and runs a number of events such as art exhibits, film screenings, panel discussions, cultural events, community hang outs etc.

In 2012, KRPF organised an exhibition of paintings, photographs of various artists and posters, pamphlets of several NGOs working on gender and sexuality rights. Every year Kolkata Rainbow Pride Walk happens based on some important social cause. In 2013, KRPW walked against all kind of Sexual Violences. [4][5][6]

In 2014, the KRPW walked in support of the rights to the gender expression along with rights for individual sexual freedom. Even after heavy downpour KRPW got participation of more than a thousand supporters.[7][8][9]
