== Kailash - Mayabazar ==

Mayabazar is a Tamil Telugu bilingual film, that is the reason may be he would have accepted your Mayabazar GA nomination, because of Tamil lead actors, in the Tamil version of Mayabazar, may be he is your friend, and sweet talker, that doesnt make him a good editor, user Kailash is completely into conflict of interest, he has vested interests on Telugu articles. Who ever goes against his edits, on any article, he will immediately tag them as sock puppets of Padmalakshmisx, like that he has booked 3-4 editors who are not sock puppets of wikipedia. You reject his point of view, or be rude in your response to him, then there are chances, he will even tag you as sock puppet of wikipedia. I too dont car a damn just because your last name is jandhyala, but I give respect to fellow editor's dont make this mistake again of taking every wikipedia issue to his attention, and put his interference, if you are capable enough you would sorted Mahesh babu issue amicably with me, but since you are under blind influence of user Kailash, you are taking every wikipedia encounter or hassle you face to user Kailash's attention. This type of behavior is also a kind of sock puppetry by user Kailash. [[User:Pravbv|Pravbv]] ([[User talk:Pravbv|talk]]) 14:22, 30 November 2015 (UTC)

@Dr. Blofeld: a gentle reminder! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:40, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I thought I reviewed it? ♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:41, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Dr. Blofeld: I would be more than happy if that happened actually. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 11:45, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I could have sworn I reviewed a GA on the weekend! I'd never have intentionally left it a full week to review it! When I say within a few days I mean it. I'll tackle it a bit later.♦ Dr. Blofeld 11:59, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No worries Doctor. I just want to make sure that you did not forgot it. That's why i gave a reminder! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 12:04, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Amazing how you managed to get Pelli Chesi Choodu, an article having fewer refs than Kalidas to GA (it had 30-something refs during its GAR). This should convince me and Ssven that Keechaka Vadham can achieve the same. Kailash29792 (talk) 16:10, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: I remember Ssven2 saying that he wants to take Keechaka Vadham further on the lines of Si Ronda and Gagak Item. I promised him to review the FAC. Now almost after a month, i am hearing now from you that it is a possible GAN. Whatever it is, i wish you both all the best. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:15, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, why isn't Kalyanam Panni Paar's soundtrack there on its Wiki article? I acknowledge I was not able to find it online, but a DVD menu of the film would certainly list its songs (that's how I solved the dilemma in Chandralekha). Kailash29792 (talk) 16:24, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Kailash29792: Kalyanam Panni Paar is not available at the moment. I really searched for it and failed. IMHO, Pelli Chesi Choodu is one of the most underrated cult films and it was one of those films likened by the one whom i lost to god this September. I consider it a tribute to that person who is very much close to my heart. Coming back, for now the Tamil tracklist is in my sandbox. When i find a reliable source (like DVD, music websites, others), i shall add it. It will just be removed when the feasibility is almost NIL. Srimanthudu

I have pretty much finished the copy-edit you requested for Srimanthudu. I have just a few questions for you:

1) In the first paragraph of the section Srimanthudu#Critical reception is the following sentence:

  • Sify called Srimanthudu a "right mix of Mahesh's emotional and class performance, Shruthi's charisma, fine storyline and all materials that are needed for a good entertainer".

I'm wondering whether "class performance" should be "classy performance". Since it was a quote, I decided not to change it without asking you.

2) Later in that same paragraph is the following sentence, which is the last sentence in a quote:

  • Yet there can be no denying that Srimanthudu achieves more than any big ticket Tollywood potboiler has in more in that last decade, for the simple reason that it is a drama made like one.

There is something not quite clear right after "big ticket Tollywood". It is this part:

  • has in more in that last decade.

Are you sure this is copied correctly from the source? Can you check? Do you see how it doesn't sound right? Perhaps it should be:

  • Srimanthudu achieves more than any big ticket Tollywood potboiler has in more than the last decade.

3) Early in the article, I changed several instances of "screen" or "screens" to "theatre" or "theatres". Then, later in the article, in the section describing box office receipts, that is, box office gross and net sales of tickets, I again saw "screen" or "screens" used. I was about to change those, too, but then I thought I had better check with you first. Which term do you prefer? Corinne (talk) 00:46, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Corinne: Thanks for the elaborate c/e. For the first one, i too felt the same but i kept it unchanged adhering to WP:QUOTE. I agree with you on the second, but again WP:QUOTE comes in the way. For the third one, i would prefer screens. Considering the article's length, i could have made a few mistakes for sure. But i am really amazed with your speed. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:01, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. O.K. We'll leave those two quotes as they are. I think readers can guess that "class performance" means "classy performance", but on the second one, it is so unclear I'm wondering whether we shouldn't add "sic" (a Latin abbreviation that means that that is the way it was in the original) in single square brackets, like this: [sic], after that unclear phrase.
I did add one comma in a quote from a reviewer a little later than those other ones, in the collection of positive reviews. It was a short quote where the reviewer was describing Mahesh Babu as cool and mellow. Do you know which one I mean? You can find it in the edits I made, if you look in the revision history. It was three two-word phrases in a row, and it looked odd without the comma. If you think it should reflect the source exactly, it can be removed (but I've been told by other editors that minor edits like punctuation can be made to a quote).
Regarding "screen" vs. "theatre", do you want me to go back and change all of the ones I had changed? They're all in the first half of the article. Or can you do it? Corinne (talk) 01:14, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Corinne: Can you please add that [sic] there, i'm okay with the second one. I have done the third adjustment myself. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:34, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding "sic", I noticed that someone added it. I haven't yet looked at who added it, but I did some research just now since I didn't think the word had to be in italics. If you'll read the first paragraph in the section Sic#Formatting and the examples in the section just above it, you'll see that it does not need to be italicized, at least in British, Australian, New Zealand usage, and presumably also Indian English usage. Bhale Bhale Magadivoy

I've finished copy-editing Bhale Bhale Magadivoy. I wanted to discuss with you just one thing. It's something similar to one thing we discussed with the other film. In the section Bhale Bhale Magadivoy#Critical reception, two of the quotes from reviewers are ungrammatical. It just seems that words are missing. I'm wondering if it would make sense to add the missing words in single square brackets, or add "[sic]" (no italics needed), as in the other film article. Here are the two sentences. I am going to put in bold what is missing.

1) Sangeetha Devi Dundoo of The Hindu called the film a "laugh riot" and stated that Bhale Bhale Magadivoy "puts logic aside but there's plenty of situational humour where you'll find yourself laughing aloud and having a good time. And these laughs are with [rather] than at the protagonist".

2) Pranita Jonnalagedda of The Times of India gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars and stated that Bhale Bhale Magadivoy comes across as a "breath of fresh air" because it "successfully keeps itself away from the regular formula of romantic comedies [and is] devoid of the oh-so-overused cliches" and is a "delight for anyone looking for wholesome entertainment".

On this second one, the first part of the sentence (just after "because") doesn't make sense without "and is".

3) Suresh Kavirayani of the Deccan Chronicle also gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars and stated that the film can be watched for "some hilarious scenes and Nani's brilliance performance".

This last sentence is grammatically incorrect, with two nouns in a row: "brilliance" and "performance". As I'm sure you know, it should be adjective + noun: "brilliant performance". If this really is the way it was in the Deccan Chronicle, I think "[sic]" should be added either right after "brilliance" or after "performance".

4) Early in the article, I removed "album" after "soundtrack": ...composed the soundtrack. In the U.S., that's what I usually hear. The album is what is later sold as a CD, etc. But I left in the word "album" where it appeared later in the article. If you prefer that even the early sentence read, "composed the soundtrack album", then by all means put "album" back in.

5) Regarding the plot section, you'll see that I re-worded quite a bit of it. I suggest that you read it carefully to be sure I did not introduce anything that is incorrect regarding the story. You'll also see that I added a few "clarification needed" tags with notes to the editor (I guess that's you). After you clarify what needs to be clarified (or even if you're satisfied with the way it is now), you can remove the tags and notes.

Let me know if you need help with anything else in the article. Corinne (talk) 23:43, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Corinne: Thanks Corinne, that was really quick. I've tried to resolve all the comments in the Plot section. I agree with your points related to the Soundtrack and Critical reception. I've added [rather], [and is] and [sic] at the places you suggested me to do so. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 01:12, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
O.K. Good. Remember, "sic" doesn't need to be italicized. Just write [sic] (no template). Corinne (talk) 02:01, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@Corinne: Sure. Shall remember it in the future! Pavanjandhyala (talk) 10:25, 30 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
