Shaun Hutson (born 1958) is a writer of novels including horror novels and dark urban thrillers. He wrote at least one book originally published under the name Robert Neville.

A native of Letchworth Garden City in Hertfordshire, England,[1] Hutson now lives and writes in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.

He is the author of Slugs, the basis for the film of the same title.[2]

He wrote a screenplay for The Figgis Brothers (Jason Figgis & Jonathan Figgis) for their company October Eleven Pictures' upcoming feature film 'Box'. Shooting was set to commence late Spring 2009.[3] The film apparently remains unproduced.
