The 2016 Rugby League Four Nations tournament (also known as the 2016 Gillette Rugby League Four Nations due to sponsorship by Gillette) will be the fifth staging of the Rugby League Four Nations tournament and will be played in England and Scotland from October-November. The series will be contested by Australia, England, New Zealand and Scotland, who qualified for their first Four Nations by winning the 2014 European Cup.[1] If Scotland make it into the final, they will be the first 'fourth nation' to do so in the entire Four Nations history from 2009 to 2016.
History
The 2016 tournament is the fifth Four Nations series planned before the 2017 Rugby League World Cup, with the venues rotating between Europe and the South Pacific.
