Kanthapuram is the one of the notable muslim scholar[6] responded against ISIS.[7][8] He said :""The Muslim world is in dire need to take cognizance of the threats posed by the anti-Islamic outfits. The militant groups among Muslims are causing harm to Islam in the false garb of Islamists.
