Imagine You and Me (stylized as Imagine You & Me) is an upcoming 2016 Filipino romantic film directed by Michael Tuviera starring Maine Mendoza, Alden Richards and introducing Jasmine Curtis.[1]
The film is to be released on July 13, 2016, 3 days before AlDub's 1st anniversary on July 16, under APT Entertainment and GMA Films.

Development
Production
On April 16, 2016, it was announced on the Kalyeserye segment of the Philippine noontime variety show Eat Bulaga! that Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza. Richards and Mendoza, collectively known as AlDub, first appeared in the 2015 film My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore alongside Vic Sotto and Ai Ai delas Alas. Imagine You and Me will be the first film with Richards and Mendoza in leading roles.[3]
Production of the film began in May 2016 in Como, Italy.[4][5] According to Como, Italy's website La Provinicia, Richards and Mendoza were accompanied by 35 crew members, along with director Mike Tuviera.[6]
Promotion
Maine Mendoza wrote the lyrics of the theme song of the movie with music by Vic Sotto and arranged by Jimmy Antiporda.[2] On June 16, 2016, Mendoza performed the song "Imagine You and Me" on Eat Bulaga!.[7] A duet version of the song with Alden Richards will also be used for the movie.
Marketing
June 16, 2016 marks the 11th Monthsary and 48th Weeksary of AlDub. With this, Maine Mendoza sang the official movie theme song which she personally wrote. Also, a teaser for the film was shown on Eat Bulaga!.[7]
Release
Imagine You and Me will be released on July 13, 2016 in the Philippines.[7]
