Danielle LaPorte (born May 25, 1969 in Windsor, Ontario)[1] is a bestselling Canadian author, inspirational speaker, entrepreneur, and blogger.

She is the author of two non-fiction books on conscious goal-setting and entrepreneurship and co-author of a book on personal style .

LaPorte’s website, DanielleLaPorte.com (formerly WhiteHotTruth.com), discusses spirituality, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.[2] Forbes named her blog one of the top 100 websites for women in 2012, calling LaPorte “a contrarian self-help guru."[3]

LaPorte is one of Oprah Winfrey's Super Soul 100 Leaders. [4]

Prior to founding DanielleLaPorte.com, LaPorte was Executive Director of The Arlington Institute think tank in Washington, DC,[6] a partner at Carrie & Danielle, Inc.,[7][8] and was a communications strategist[9] at The Next Level communications agency.[10] She was also a regular contributor on business and career topics on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation News Network show, Connect with Mark Kelley.[11]

She has written for Mothering.com[12] and her blog is syndicated at The Huffington Post.
